BL Physio TYPEWRITER LOOK (10)

PAUL TREVETHAN (BPhty)

Paul Trevethan

Paul is the principal and founder of BL Physio, established in 2001. He loves to share information to empower his patients as well as other health professionals. Paul is in charge of practitioner training in the clinic. He created the SSTM® muscle management system as well a corporate injury prevention program used throughout Australia.

Paul co-created the ‘Running Injury Free Revolution (RIFREV) with William Wragg (50 marathons in 50 days), a resource for the running community to stay injury-free. He has guest lectured at The University of Queensland and is passionate about helping others achieve their goals.

Shayle Korander-Matheson BPhty MAPA

Shayl

Shayle is a physiotherapist who loves integrating his sporting background into quality treatment for his patients. A long-time member of the Coorparoo AFL club, Shayle is now the vice-captain of the senior men’s team. He is also an avid runner, competing in numerous ultramarathons including the Guzzler, 100km twice.

From his experiences in sports, Shayle understands how frustrating it is to be injured and sitting on the sidelines. He uses the latest evidence-based exercise programs in conjunction with quality hands-on treatment to assist patients to achieve their goals, be pain-free and stay in the game.

If your sporting days are beyond you, don’t stress! Shayle is super passionate about helping people ease pain, and then teaching them how to link in and help themselves so they can keep doing what they love long term.

KIERAN STORCH BPhty(H)

KIERAN STORCH BPhty(H)

Competing as a professional triathlete himself, Kieran combines his first-hand experience of the three disciplines, swim, bike, run with his work as a Physiotherapist. Initially from a running background, Kieran’s sporting career influences his treatment programs. He combines practical skills with the most up to date biomechanics research to direct patients’ treatment programs. This attention to detail feeds through to all areas of his clinical practice, no more so than in his highly technical Bike Fit assessments.

Kieran knows what it takes to get results, winning the (20-24) National Sprint Champion (2016), (20-24) Duathlon World Champion (2015) and Open Noosa Triathlon Champion (2014) himself.

The many and varying patient goals are what drives Kieran’s work. He strives to provide the best hands-on treatment and rehabilitation programs in order for his patients to achieve their goals, be that return to sport or simply to be pain-free for life.
